It all started In…

1998 in a single school in Springdale, Arkansas. Since then it has grown into a nationally recognized program that has brought in hundreds of thousands of fathers and father figures into the school classrooms and hallways across the country, creating millions of hours of “in school” volunteer time.

What do i need to do once i am a watch dog?

You will select the date(s) that you would like to be on campus. We will have a calendar at Welcome Aboard, or you may email us for available opportunities.

When you show up on campus, you will check in at the front office to receive your official WATCH D.O.G.S. “Dog Tag” nametag to place on your official Watch Dogs T-Shirt. You’ll go through a brief orientation and get your picture taken with your student(s).

Before School: You will assist with student arrivals in the bus and car areas, attend flag salute, and patrol hallways.

During School: You will assist in classrooms, with recess, and patrol the hallways, parking lot, and all around the school.

Do I need to Buy My Own Shirt?

No. We will have shirts available to borrow in sizes L, XL, and XXL. We ask that you take it home at the end of your shift and return it after you launder it. If you want to purchase a shirt of your own, you may go to the Official Watch D.O.G.S. website to get a shirt and any other merchandise you may want.
